We actually had a good road trip today, despite the general traffic out there. After a trip to the pediatrician for Girl with what is some form of a sinus infection that has been around now for a month, we hit the road at noon and were in RI by 4:00 p.m. That included a brief stop for diaper change & lunch to go, and a second stop for Boy who didn’t quite make it on the potty notice. Poor guy was so upset he had an accident, I felt so bad for him! But we got cleaned up and back on the road and overall not a bad ride for the busiest travel day of the year.
Now tonight we’re just relaxing. Dinner tomorrow is at my aunt’s house, so not much to do here tonight and that sounds FABULOUS to me.
I’m very happy to report that the busiest travel day was a complete success for us, and we’re safe and sound and ready for our long weekend.
Now if only my children thought sleep was as awesome as I did…. mama wants to go to sleep!
